• NICEM
  NICEM was officially launched on 8th of June 1994 at the Conference on “Racism and Poverty”, which was organised by the Northern Ireland Anti-Poverty Network and NICEM. The initial idea for NICEM developed from the linkage and working relationship between the Chinese, Indian and the Traveling communities, which together with the Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ), have been at the forefront in the campaign for the race relations legislation in Northern Ireland since 1991.
   
• Polish Association
  A group of people who has decided to establish Polish Association in Northern Ireland was meeting together since December 2005. During our meetings we have noticed some shortcomings in the local information system. This is the reason for the delay of the accustom process within Polish people in a new reality. A lack of place where those in need due to language barrier can come along to get helped, advised or even talk to their compatriots turned out to be quite an obstacle.

  The Police Service of Northern Ireland’s purpose is to make Northern Ireland safer for everyone through professional, progressive policing. We achieve this goal through policing with the community. This proactive, community-driven approach sees the police and local community working together to identify and solve problems.
